佩洛西窜台背后：赚得盆满钵满的美国游说公司(4)

　　查看美国司法部给国会的报告，2019-2020两年间还有其他8家公关公司替台湾游说。交易记录中单个公司一年从台湾方面获取的最大金额为30万。这两年中，游说支付金额为3212625.68美元，其中有近57%来自TECRO。除了政治游说外，台湾相关机构也会花钱让美国公司帮助他们推动双方贸易、旅游等互动。

　　Going through records of the Department of Justice， there were eight other companies lobbying for Taiwan during 2019 and 2020。 The largest annual payment among all cash flows from Taiwan to these companies was $300，000， and the total amount accounts for $3 million， 57% of which were served by TECRO。 Except from lobbying， related Taiwan institutions had also paid US companies aiming at trade and tourism promotion。

　　8月3日上午，佩洛西与蔡英文在台北见面。在不到半小时的讲话和记者会上， 两人互相吹捧对方在“民主”世界的重要位置和贡献，“民主”一词高达20次（往期文章：起底“国会山股神”佩洛西）。她们认为这是两地的连结点和共同追求。

　　但是历史证明，“民主”并不是她们口中修饰的那么始终如一。二者关系随着美国在台湾利益的变化而转向。早在1867年，美国就曾派战舰攻打台湾 ，并在甲午战争中向日本兜售武器，迫使满清政府在战败后割让台湾。

　　A century and a half ago， the US was the first country to attack Taiwan with a warship in 1867。 It was supporting the Japanese invasion of Taiwan in 1874， and selling weapons to Japan during the first Sino-Japanese war， forcing China to cede Taiwan to Japan in late 19th century。

　　而今，在拜登上台后，美国已经搞了五轮对台军售。

　　游说、政治献金、军售，美国的外交就是一场买卖。台湾政客最好摸透美国民主的价格，小心把自己卖了还在帮忙美国数钱。
